Wunup F.A.Q.

Yes! Wunup hosts monthly public challenges that you can join for free. These public challenges allow our community of users to compete in step challenges. At the time the challenge ends, if you are in the top 5 on the leaderboard, you'll be rewarded and sent the prize winnings! Typically we run challenges that pay our $20 to the top 5 finishers. This is subject to change as we experiment with custom rewards and payout structures.

Once a competition ends, our team will reach out within 24 business hours to you using the contact information associated with your account. We are flexible and work with you on payment. We support the following platforms to transfer winnings to you:

• Venmo
• Cash App
• PayPal
• Zelle

This is a common issue that is typically resolved by granting permissions to the Wunup application to “talk” to your Apple Health app. Try the following steps to resolve. After completing any of these troubleshooting steps, please close the Wunup app and reopen:

1. Open health app → click “sharing” in bottom center of app → scroll down to find “apps” → click Wunup → ensure you are allowing all metrics to be shared to Wunup

2. One additional step to help resolve this issue is to allow background refresh. To do this navigate to settings → apps → Wunup → ensure “Background App Refresh” is enabled

Wunup supports any device that integrates with the Apple Health App. Based on our team's experience and testing, we have observed 100% compatibility with most devices, with only a few hardware models experiencing minor issues. This tier list categorizes devices based on their performance with Apple Health:

Tier 1 Devices: These devices provide seamless and accurate results consistantly.

• Apple Watch
• Fitbit (manufactured after 2021)
• Garmen (manufactured after 2021)
• Polar (e.g. Ignite, Vantage, M series)
• Oura Ring

Tier 2 Devices: While these devices work with Apple Health, we have observed occasional accuracy and frequency issues. Manufacturers of these devices have publicly acknowledged these limitations and are actively working on improvements.

• Whoop Strap
• Garmen (previous generations before 2021 manufature date)

Support for all devices is expected to improve over time.

Similar to device compatibility, Wunup supports any app that integrates with Apple HealthKit (Apple Health App). These apps require permission to read and write data to Apple Health, which is typically granted when you first download and set them up.

Wunup uses the native Apple Health App to read your health data and use it in fun and engaging was. Our technical team has developed our own integration to ensure we are gathering accurate health data metrics from the Apple Health Application.

Currently we only support step count for tracking and competition. This is rapidly evolving as our team works to impliment additional methods to compete. A few of the metrics to be on the lookout for:
